Modern Pets is an animated web series which premiered on GoAnimate on September 22, 2013 with a double episode premiere. 18 episodes have premeried since, and has become the series with the most episodes ever for Toon Central, beating The Family Suite's record of 16 episodes. Each episode usually runs at approximately 2 minutes each. Since June 29, 2014, the series has had a hiatus.

-On December 20, 2013 it was announced that Modern Pets will get a third season and will be connected with season 2 with an interesting story arc. This season will also contain 10 episodes, as previous seasons. Season 3 is scheduled to premiere sometime in August 2014.

-On June 15, 2014, it was announced with the release of [[season 2]]'s first part of the [[Crossover]] episode that the series was renewed for a fourth season. Making the series the first season for a [[Toon Central]] show to get a fourth season. It will recieve 10 episodes, like previous seasons.
